Pre-K Program

Picture
St. Helena's Pre-k program is for children who are 2 years old through 4. All pre-k classes have small class sizes and low student/teacher ratios.  Classes are grouped by developmental milestones rather than by age.  Our older children are taught by degreed teachers.  Five year old children, and children who missed the kindergarten cut off by only a few months are placed in a transitional kindergarten class.

All
of our learning is done through exploration, field trips, special visitors, experimentation and play.  Children attend weekly enrichment classes including music, art, cooking, gardening, Bible study and movement classes.  Twice a month the classes visit the Boerne public library.  Our curriculum includes monthly daily chapel.  Once a month we have school at Joshua Springs Park!  An introduction to Spanish is part of our everyday curriculum.  All of our pre-k teachers are certified in High Scope.

We encourage parents to volunteer any chance they get and go with us on our monthly scheduled field trips. For more information about ways to get involved click here.

Pre-k is Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30-2:15.

The tuition is $3,544/year

We charge a non-refundable $200 registration fee per child and a $55 supply fee.

If you have any questions please contact us for more information.
